Police say Catterick Garrison ‘stabbing’ not suspicious

Police now say a stabbing reported in Catterick Garrison is ‘not suspicious’.

Officers were called after a a report that a man in his 20s has suffered a stab wound yesterday.

However, in an update today North Yorkshire Police say they are not looking for anyone in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson said: “Following an investigation into the incident, and based on information received, at this time the circumstances are not believed to be suspicious and police are not actively seeking any outstanding suspects.

“The injured man received medical attention and was discharged from hospital the same day.”
