Police are appealing for CCTV footage after four vehicles were targeted by thieves in Brompton-on-Swale.
The thefts took place on Brompton Park in the early hours of Sunday, August 23.
North Yorkshire Police is asking residents to check CCTV and video doorbell cameras for anything suspicious between 1.30am and 3am.
Officers would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed unusual activity in the area before or around the time the thefts took place.
Police have been carrying out enquiries in Brompton-on-Swale, including speaking to householders.
The force said officers were also reassuring residents that work was under way to identify the person or people responsible for the thefts.
Anyone with relevant CCTV footage or information about the incidents should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting reference 12260164602.
Residents are also being reminded to ensure vehicles are locked overnight and that valuables are not left inside.
Police said suspicious activity should be reported on 101 at the time it occurs, or by calling 999 in an emergency.
