Police visit licensed premises for drink and drug drive campaign

Police officers have been visiting licenses premises in Richmondshire for North Yorkshire Police’s summer drink and drug drive campaign which is running this week.

PCSO Nicole Randall and PCSO Paul Fee, community alcohol partnership (CAP) lead for Richmondshire, have visiting licenced premises in Catterick, talking to them about underage sales, refusal registers and reinforcing the importance of reporting those they suspect may be committing drink or drug drive offences.

Legal level of alcohol in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are:
  • Micrograms per 100 millilitre’s of breath: 35
  • Milligrams per 100 millilitres of blood: 80
  • Milligrams per 100 millilitres of urine: 107
