Police want information on a suspicious caller after a burglary.
The burglary occurred sometime between March 6 and 9 in the Church Road area of Barton.
A few days earlier on Tuesday, March 3 a man knocked at the victim’s door.
The caller asked if the occupant wanted his drive pressure washing.
He didn’t leave a left no card and was driving a plain white transit van.
A spokesperson for Richmondshire police said: “It would be good to know if this male knocked on anybody else’s door in the area.
“He may or may not be linked, but is certainly of interest.
“Any CCTV footage would be of great help too.”
