Police are investigating a house burglary in Richmond
The incident happened at a property in John’s Court.
It is thought to have occurred sometime over the past week.
Following the burglary, police are urging residents to check their home security.
A spokesperson for Richmond neighbourhood policing team said: “If you have older style door locks it would be a good idea to have them surveyed to ensure they are up to modern security standards.”
In a separate incident, a van was stolen from the Barton area this week.
The white Citroen Luton van, registration MW16 RYK, was taken between 9pm on Sunday and 9.45am on Monday.
