A pop up cheese shop will open in a Wensleydale village next week.

Curlew Dairy will open the shop at their premises in Wensley from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, December 21.

The dairy is run by Ben and Sam Spence.

Sam said: “Visitors can see wee where we make our award winning cheese and get into the festive spirit.

“They can pick up a wedge of freshly cut Yoredale Wensleydale cheese for their Christmas cheeseboard or a gift hamper.

“We will have for sale all the essential accompaniments for your Wensleydale cheese, including guest farmhouse cheese, luxury fruitcake, local chutneys and cranberry toast crackers”

The couple will be selling hot chocolates and mulled wine on the day, with all proceeds going to charity.

They will be joined by The Wensleydale Spirit Co and Taylor Made Jewellery.
