A power cut has caused faults with traffic lights in the Catterick Garrison and Colburn area.
The power cut occurred on Monday morning and affected around 100 properties.
Power has now been restored but there remains a fault with some traffic lights, including those at White Shops junction.
Motorists are being urged to take care.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “There are a few traffic light systems affected by a power outage in the Catterick Garrison area.
“Please use the junctions with caution and care, drive with consideration to other road users and pedestrians.
“Contractors have now been sent to fix the traffic lights.”
