Residents can find out more about getting a lasting power of attorney (LPA) at a free event in Richmond next week.

Jamie Cole, from Selby District AVS, will be at the Time Together Tuesday Cafe at Richmond Town Hall on Tuesday September 13 from 1pm.

He will talk about his power of attorney service, which offers clients a simple and concise service at a much reduced cost.

An LPA is an legal document that allows you to choose other people to make  decisions on your behalf, so you are prepared if a time comes when you are unable to make them yourself , giving you and your family peace of mind and protection in the future.

This event is organised by Dementia Friendly Richmondshire.

It is open to everyone.
