Police are appealing for information after a quad bike and a number of power tools were stolen during a burglary at farm buildings near Whashton.
The burglary happened during the early hours of Friday morning at a property on Strudy House Lane, south of the village.
North Yorkshire Police said suspects entered outbuildings and stole a red Honda quad bike, registration YJ10 OTN, along with a number of power tools.
Among the items taken was a blue Makita 40v drill which can be identified by a welding rod burn mark on its battery.
A blue Makita angle grinder was also stolen. Police said it has tape wrapped around its handle and a bolt welded onto the guard.
Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw suspicious vehicles or activity in and around the area between 1am and 5am.
