Repair café returns to Richmond Town Hall this April

Volunteers from Richmondshire Climate Action Partnership are hosting another repair café in Richmond later this month following the success of recent events.

The session will take place at Richmond Town Hall on Sunday, April 19, from 9.45am to 12.30pm.

Members of the public are invited to bring along a wide range of household items for repair, including clothing, small electricals, clocks, lamps, ceramics, soft toys and jewellery. Visitors are also welcome to drop in simply for a cup of tea and home-baked cakes.

The event is free to attend, although donations are welcomed to help cover costs.

Organisers say the initiative aims to reduce waste by giving items a second life, helping to prevent them from ending up in landfill while saving people money.
