A rescue operation has been launched following reports of a teenager in the water in Swaledale.
Fire crews from Hawes and Reeth were called to the incident at West Stonesdale, near Keld, at about 5pm.
The water rescue teams from Ripon and Richmond were also sent to the scene.

It is understood the teenager was reported to have gone under the falls and washed downstream.
A spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said more details would be available later.
Police, ambulance service paramedics and Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team volunteers were also called to the incident.
A spokesman for Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team said they were supporting the police and ambulance service who were in attendance.
“It’s very much a live operation,” they added.
