Members of Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team came to the aid of an injured walker yesterday afternoon.
The team was called out by the ambulance service to Gunnerside Gill, in Swaledale.
The group of walkers were reported to be almost at the village, but a search by team members found them still making steady progress off the hill.
They were assisted to the village by ambulance staff and team members.
