Volunteers were called out to help search for a missing child in the Catterick Garrison areas last night.
Members of Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team received the callout at 11.45pm.
Luckily, one of the team members spotted the child on the way to the meeting point.
The boy was returned cold and wet, but safe, to his parents.
