Residents invited to have say on Mayor’s transport plans at Catterick event

Mayor David Skaith.

Residents are being invited to have their say on the future of transport across York and North Yorkshire at a consultation event in Catterick Garrison this week.

The York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority is holding the drop-in session at The Bridge on Thursday, September 17, from 6pm to 8pm.

The event forms part of consultation on the Mayor’s Local Transport Plan, which will help shape future transport priorities across the region.

Residents attending will be able to meet members of the team working on the plan, learn more about the proposals and give their views in person.

The Combined Authority said further consultation events were also being organised and would be announced in due course.

People who cannot attend the Catterick Garrison session can find out more and take part in the consultation through the Mayor’s Local Transport Plan consultation webpage.
