Restored garden tools will be among the items on sale at a Richmond charity’s open day at the weekend.
Just the Job will hold a fundraising open day at its community garden at the top of Quarry Road on Saturday from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
Steve Biggs, Just the Job general manager, said: “We have been donated some old gardening tools and given them a new lease of life so we can sell them at the open day.
“George and Lisa (pictured) and others have been hard at work giving some TLC to the old metal and wood.
“It has been very satisfying seeing the rusty metal transformed.
“Reusing and recycling materials are an important part of the ethos at Just the Job; it runs through all our activities from gardening to crafts and is great for raising a few pounds to help fund the work we do.”
Also on sale will be quirky crafts and plants.
There will also be a wood turning demonstration, activity trail and refreshments.
