A Richmond barber shop is expanding by taking on new staff and opening longer hours.
The Men’s Room has taken on another team member, Andy Williams, an experienced barber from Northallerton.
The shop’s apprentice, Kai Dickinson, has completed his apprenticeship and owners Dan and Bev Kilvington Mason hope to take on another trainee in the summer.
The Men’s Room has also extended its opening hours to include Mondays.
Bev said: “We have been open now 20 months and the growth of the shop has far exceeded our expectations.
“Dan has been barbering in and around the town for 32 years now and many customers who come now with their kids he did their hair when they were young.”
The Men’s Room opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm and Saturdays, 8.30am to 3.00pm.
