Richmond business loyalty card promotion launches

Will Gardner from Roots and Shoots Florist.

This year’s Original Richmond Business and Tourism Association’s  (ORBTA) loyalty card promotion has launched early giving shoppers almost seven weeks to collect their six stamps.

With 22 prizes to be won, this year’s promotion is bigger than ever.

Throughout the rest of October and November shoppers are invited to collect a loyalty card and leaflet from ORBTA members, who can be identified by the posters in the windows of shops and businesses.

Details of all members can also be found at

To be in with a chance of winning, all shoppers have to do is collect six stamps from six different ORBTA members, complete an easy to answer question and submit their completed card to a participating member.

There is no limit to the number of cards that can be entered by an individual, but the stickers on each card must come from six different ORBTA businesses.

The correctly completed entries will go into a draw.

Prizes this year include a £150 wine hamper donated by Richmond Fire Engineers, £100 of ORBTA vouchers to be spent in member businesses, a £50 voucher from Trinity Fashion, Sunday Lunch for 2 at Cross View Tearooms and a £50 voucher given by Ravensworth Nurseries.

Closing date for entries is Friday, December 3 and winners will be notified by Friday, December 10.

There are over 100 members of the association in and around Richmond including shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants in and around the town centre and on Gallowfields Trading Estate as well as businesses a little further out of town.
