Volunteers from Influence Church in Richmond took part in a day of community action on Saturday.
The No Strings event has been run by the church for the last 12 years.
Volunteers aim to serve the town and be a blessing to the local community, all with no strings attached.
This story continues after the adverts:
This years event saw volunteers spend the day on projects such as assisting local primary schools, gardening for elderly residents, cleaning graffiti and litter picking.
This year, the church also partnered with Richmondshire District Council in preparing the town to compete in Britain in Bloom, through weeding public footpaths, cleaning community areas and more.
In addition to the community projects, the church also gave away hundreds of free gifts to members of the public.
More than 500 gifts of flowers, cookies and kids packs were given away in Richmond town centre on Saturday afternoon.
Ben Dowding, senior pastor of Influence Church, said: “We love Richmond and we love being part of the community here.
“No Strings is just our way of showing that to the town.
“We’ve always been a Church who believes in putting our faith in to action.
“We hope people have been blessed by what they’ve seen or received today.”
Influence Church, which also has congregations in Barnard Castle and Penrith, simultaneously ran projects in all three towns on the day, with around 250 volunteers taking part.
Influence Church has weekly Sunday services in Richmond at 11am and also has weekly children’s, youth and community events.
