A Richmond dad is asking for help to win a competition to help him provide financial security for his family.

Gordon Wade is through to the final 100 of The One contest, which is being run by property entrepreneur Steven Green, who runs the Property Investment Academy.

The winner of the competition will become The One and will shadow Steven for a year while he guides them to hopefully becoming a millionaire.

In 2018, Gordon and wife Laura, who run the Rosedale Guest House in Richmond, had triplets. Emilia Lily, Olivia Daisy and Joshua David were born ten weeks premature and weighed less than three-and-a-half pounds each when they were born.

Emilia was born with cerebral palsy which means she cannot walk or talk yet.

Gordon said: “The reason I decided to enter this international competition is because of the future financial support it could provide.

“It would help massively in the forms of Emilia’s care, mobility equipment and changes to our home. Further down the line she may be eligible for a private operation which is around £40,000 and then the after-care treatment which could run into thousands also.”

Gordon said he had already been on one of the property developer’s training courses.

Participants in the competition need to complete various tasks which Gordon is asking for help with.

“The company are excellent and I already have future plans to complete more training, but to get through this next round would be absolute massive so if people could visit my Facebook page and read the post and help us it would be absolutely amazing.

“There is a limited amount of amazing free perks for willing helpers which you can read about on the Facebook page @theonemillionaire.”

Supporters who help the dad can get a free property training course worth £1,000.
