A Richmond dance school is offering free lessons until it can reopen again.
Although lessons have been temporarily postponed at the Rhythm and Shoes Dance Academy, the teaching team say they have not hung up their dance shoes.
Principal Hazel Richmond says many hours of professional development training has been undertaken by herself and her two daughters, Louise and Hannah, to ensure that the academy is Covid compliant in preparation for when they can reopen.
Mrs Richmond added: “Although we have not physically been at our dance studios, our students have been working away at home alongside our pre-recorded practice clips which we have been uploaded to our Facebook private members group.
“This has ensured that all our students have the same opportunity to practice as many times as they wish at a time that is convenient for them.
“We recognise the need for people to partake in fitness based activities in their own home as this contributes to good overall physical and mental health which is why we have created some free classes people can try themselves at home.”
