Richmond doggie daycare centre celebrates anniversary with party

A doggie daycare centre is holiday a party to celebrate its anniversary.

CentreBarks, based on the Gallowfields Trading Estate, in Richmond will have been open seven years next month.

On April 16, from 10am to 2pm the business is inviting its canine customers to come along with their owners and friends to a birthday celebration.

Along with balloons and a cake, there will be activities for dogs of all ages to enjoy including a trampoline and small agility course.

There will also be a chance for owners to show off their dog’s recall skills with a fastest recall competition to win a half day voucher for the centre.

There will also be a goodie bag for partygoers that will include all natural treats for both owners and dogs.

Owner of CentreBarks Heather Stevens said: “When we were told to close for the lockdown, we never thought we’d make our fifth birthday, but here we are celebrating our seventh.

“We would like to thank all our lovely customers and their owners for supporting us through the years, enabling us to have such an enjoyable job.”

Heather has recently published a book entitled Beyond the Breed.

She said: “My book helps readers to see how canine functional characters explain the social interactions and dynamics of any group of dogs and that if you change the group, or an individual, you change the dynamics.”
