Richmond florist shortlisted for national award

Roots and Shoots Florist in Richmond.

A Richmond florist has been shortlisted for a top industry award and is now asking for customers’ votes in a bid to win.

Roots and Shoots Florist, based on the Gallowfields trading Industrial Estate, has made the shortlist for the Retail Shop of the Year category for the British Floristry Association Awards 2021.

The category recognises florists which offer exceptional customer service and use the highest quality flowers and exceptional skilled florists.

The business opened in Richmond almost 40 years ago but was taken over by Will Gardner and his wife Elizabeth in 2018.

Will said he is proud the business had gone from strength to strength since taking over, adding: “We are over the moon that we have been shortlisted for this award.

“We also want to thank our customers for the continuous support.

“If customers could vote for us we be really grateful.”
