Richmond Freemasons to hold open day

Lennox Lodge in Richmond.

The Richmond-based Lennox Lodge will hold an open day on Saturday, July 20.

The lodge, founded in 1763, is one of the oldest Freemasons lodges in the country still operating.

A spokesperson said: “Everyone interested in freemasonry or anyone just curious what the lodge looks like inside are more than welcome.

“Most questions will be answered and there’s also brethren that can explain about the history of the lodge.”

The lodge at 16 Newbiggin, Richmond, is open tot he public 10am to 2pm.
