Richmond Golf Club Ladies keep spirits high with coffee catch-ups

Despite weeks of dreary weather limiting time on the course, members of the Ladies’ Section at Richmond Golf Club have continued to meet regularly.

With persistent rainfall making play difficult, the group has swapped fairways for friendly coffee catch-ups, giving members the chance to stay connected and enjoy each other’s company while waiting for conditions to improve.

Ladies’ Captain Claire Bateman said the poor weather has done little to dampen morale.

“We may not be able to get out on the course this week due to the unprecedented rainfall, but that doesn’t stop us having a get together,” she said.

“The Ladies’ Section continues to grow and new members are always welcome, whether beginners or experienced golfers. Just get in touch – warmer and drier weather will be on the way and we can’t wait to hit those fairways and greens.”
