Richmond Golf Club’s new captains brought in the New Year with the first shots of 2020 at the Captain’s Drive In on Sunday.
The captains are: gents captain Ivan Rookes; ladies captain Barbara Gregory; toffs captain Adrian Maycroft and junior captain Robert Dawson.
The nine-hole competition that followed was won by Gordon Smith in the gents section on countback from Stuart Blease, who also scored 22 points, while Sue Kipling took the ladies prize on countback from Vicky Matthers with 18 points.
