A Richmond ladies’ choir is on the lookout for new members — particularly singers with higher voices.
Musicality Singers Ladies Choir rehearses every Monday from 7pm to 9pm at Richmond Methodist Church and is inviting new recruits to join its friendly and lively group.
The choir performs a wide-ranging repertoire, including songs from stage musicals, pop standards, gospel, sacred music and works by both past and present choral composers.
Members say there is “something for everyone to enjoy”, whether experienced singers or those returning to singing after a break.
With a number of concerts already scheduled for the year ahead, the choir is keen to strengthen its higher-voiced section and welcomes enquiries from anyone interested in giving it a try.
Rehearsals are described as lively and sociable, with a friendly atmosphere guaranteed.
