The Ladies B Team at Richmond Golf Club is celebrating a successful start to the new season after earning promotion to the First Division of the Yorkshire Ladies County Golf Association.
Following a strong 2025 campaign, the team secured promotion into the top division, where they now compete against clubs including Romanby, Whitby and Keighley.
The team’s first home fixture of the new season took place on Friday, 22 May, when Richmond hosted Romanby in sunny conditions.
Team captain Susan Gardner was joined by Katharine Finkill, Nic Bailey, Clair Jones and Amanda Peirson for the match, with Richmond producing an impressive performance to win 4½ to ½.
Susan said: “This was a great match and I’d like to thank our team for a splendid performance.”
