Richmond Rotary Club has once again opened its annual charity art exhibition at The Station in Richmond, showcasing a diverse range of creative talent in support of local good causes.

Running until Tuesday, 4 November, the exhibition features an array of paintings, woodcarvings, and other handmade artefacts — all of which are for sale in aid of Rotary charities, with the Marrick Priory Outdoor Centre the primary beneficiary this year.

Organiser Richard Gibson, of Richmond Rotary Club, said: “This is a really exciting selection of art from both professional and amateur artists.

“The Station is a great venue with a high footfall where lots of people can enjoy the exhibition without booking or charge.

“We are grateful to the Station staff for their continuing support.”

The exhibition was formally opened by Rotary president John Morton, who praised the event’s community spirit and the efforts of the volunteers who helped bring it together.

“To a huge extent, the exhibition symbolises what Rotary stands for at its best,” he said

“It is firmly based in our local community, gives opportunities to a large number of great local artists, and ultimately benefits less fortunate people.”

The exhibition is free to visit and open daily during The Station’s normal opening hours.
