Richmond School pupils’ art goes on display at The Station

An exhibition by A-level and GCSE art and photography students from Richmond School has opened at The Station in Richmond.

The work is a diverse collection of printmaking, painting, textiles, mixed media and ceramics produced by students as part of their examination courses.

In some cases the work is inspired by exam themes and in others responses are tailored to meet briefs set by the school for their coursework.

Station manager Eileen Halliday said: “The Station Gallery is proud to showcase the talents of Richmond School students, displaying their brilliant artistic skills and hard work.

“We hope the local community will come and support this event.”

The exhibition runs until August 9.
