A Richmond shop has donated dozens of plants to local NHS workers.
Pet and garden supplies store Meynells dropped off a whole rack of plants to the Friary Community Hospital.
Shop owner John Meynell said he wanted to show his support to NHS staff at this difficult time.
He added: “I’ve always had a great affinity for Richmond Friarage Hospital.
“They have always been very kind to our family and I appreciate how lucky we are to have a hospital to liken the Friary in our community.
“I just wanted to say thank to the staff for their support and help to Richmond and thought a few plants would help them enjoy the free time that they do get.” [kofi]

What a lovely thing to do John
John Meynall is a regular supporter of many, many local charities, before lockdown, would give a Raffle prize for the weekly charity coffee mornings. A wonderful, kind hearted and generous man.
