Richmond Swimming Pool has shut until further notice.
Both pools will be shut tomorrow, with swimming lessons cancelled on Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Austin Gordon, from Richmondshire Leisure Trust, which runs the pool, said the pools needed to close for “emergency maintenance work”.
He said they would know by Wednesday if the pool needed to stay closed for longer.
Staff say parents of children who have lessons at the pool are being contacted.
