Richmond Town Ladies prepare to take on Redcar Athletic Ladies

Richmond Town Ladies are back in action at home this weekend facing a tough Redcar Athletic Ladies side.

Both teams are battling it out at the top end of the table and this clash could prove crucial come the end of the season.

Richmond have made a strong start to the season, winning five of the eight games played so far this season with one draw and two defeats.

The results mean Richmond sit fifth in the North Riding Women’s Premier division.

Redcar have made a similar start to the season. Having played one more game than town, Redcar currently sit third in the table having won six, with one draw and only two defeats.

A win this weekend could see town move level on points with Redcar with a game in hand for Town.

The team said they would love to see some local support at home games to help make Richmond an intimidating place for away teams to come and play football.

Due to the weather this week home game will take place at Wavell 3G pitch on Wavell Road, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3SF.

The game will kick off at 2pm and it is free admission for all.
