Richmond Town claimed the North Riding Saturday County Cup last night after a win on penalties over Yarm and Eaglescliffe FC.
The game, played at Northallerton Town’s ground, finished 1-1 after a first-half goal from Luke McCormack was cancelled out by Yarm’s Jayden Gray.
Town keeper Scott Leeming made the save which handed the cup to the Wearside League team in the resulting penalty shootout.
