A junior football team has secured sponsorship from a local business after initially failing to find a sponsor for the 2018/19 Season.
James Crossland, of Crossland Fencing and Tree Services, has sponsored Richmond Town Under 10s who play every Sunday in the third division of the Teesside Junior Football Alliance League.
The team consists of 13 players and is supported come rain or shine by the parents, who are known as the Town Army.
The team relies on the kindness of parents and local businesses, like all Richmond Town teams do, in order to be able to allow the boys to compete and play against local teams.
Ian Saunders, team manager said: “I have coached some of these boys since they were 4 years old and to still see them playing together is great.
“It’s the kindness and generosity of people and local businesses like James at Crossland Fencing and Tree Services that allow this to happen and allows the boys to look the real deal.
“The kit James has provided is amazing and we cannot thank him enough.”
The kit was provided by MySportswear, Darlington.
