The traditional septennial boundary walk will take place in Richmond on Wednesday, August 27.
The 14-mile trek around the town’s perimeter is open to all, but organisers warn that the route includes rough terrain and walkers should wear suitable footwear and clothing.
Participants should meet in the Market Place from 8.15am, with the walk setting off at 8.45am.
Two refreshment and toilet stops will be provided along the way, with food, cake, coffee, ice cream and beer available to buy at the lunch break.
Walkers are asked to bring water and snacks, and 20p for the public toilets at Round Howe car park.
Dogs are not permitted on the walk.
Commemorative water bottles are available from Richmond Town Hall priced at £6 each or two for £10.
