The Company of Fellmongers of Richmond is seeking newly qualified apprentices or those currently in training to participate in their annual Apprentice Awards Evening on March 22.
Each year, the Fellmongers organise and fund awards for high-achieving apprentices who have completed their training in Richmondshire.
They are invited to a celebration, which is similar to a university graduation day.
Each apprentice is presented with a medal of achievement and a citation.
The Fellmongers invite parents and employers as well, so that everybody involved can celebrate this important change from training to full adult working life.
Richmond’s mayor is also present and there is always a guest of honour who is a national figure.
The Fellmongers are now searching for deserving apprentices for the 2018 awards and are inviting businesses in the area to put forward newly qualified apprentices or individuals who they have trained during the past year.
