Richmondshire District Council is collating first-hand reports of the impact the coronavirus pandemic is having on local businesses.
The authority is asking that representatives from companies of all sizes help create a picture of how Covid-19 has affected the region, and how best future help can be directed to them.
Around 800 local businesses have been asked to complete a short survey seeking information on operational impacts, such as closure, staffing, supply and demand changes, import and export issues, and the lack of specialist resources.
They are being asked how they have adapted to the pandemic and if the business has changed or continued in the same form.
“We urge people from all business sectors to complete this survey – whether that be manufacturing/engineering, professional services sector, digital and creative or businesses within or serving the tourism sector,” said business manager, Sue White.
“It will only take five minutes and the findings will be used to feed into sub regional support and help shape the council’s economic recovery plans.”
