Richmondshire businesses urged to apply for Covid grants

Richmondshire businesses are being urged not to miss out on vital grant funding.

Applications for three of the Covid-19 related schemes close on March 31.

They can provide up to £9,000 funding for eligible businesses.

They are:

• Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) for lockdown two – 5^th November to 1st December 2020
• Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) and Local Restrictions Support Grant (Open) for tier 2/3 period  – 2^nd December 2020  to 4^th January 2021
• Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) and Business Support Package for lockdown three – 5^th January 2021 to 15^th February 2021

Entitlement to these grants is based on the business operating from premises with rateable values, have been mandated to close for the closed grants — or be open and severely impacted under the open grants.

The deadline of March 31 cannot be extended as it is a national government deadline.
