Richmondshire Cricket Club’s demanding August bank holiday weekend

The event will be held at Richmondshire Cricket Club.

Richmondshire Cricket Club (RCC) have a full weekend of cricket with matches being held both away and at the Club’s Hurgill Road ground.

The club said they face what must be the most critical and demanding programme in their history.

It starts on Saturday at 1pm when Hurgill Road is the venue for the vital game against top of the table Great Ayton.

At the same time the 2nd XI, currently leading division 1, will be playing Great Ayton 2nds away.

The long awaited ECB National Club Championship Quarter Final against Ormskirk takes place at 10.30 am on Sunday.

Supporters are asked to note the early start time which is to allow time for the team to travel to Redcar to play their Teesside University NYSD Premier 15’s Final against Seaton Carew at 5.45 pm.

Two other Richmondshire teams will have played their finals by that time with the Under 17’s playing the Junior Final against Normanby Hall U17’s at 10.15am and the 2nd Team playing Billingham Synthonia 1st XI in the Division One Final at 3.15 pm.

To round the weekend off on Monday at 1pm the 1st team travel to Barnard Castle who are currently second in the Premier League.

The club are asking for support in as many of these games as possible and assuring supporters of some great cricket.

If anyone has any energy left on the 9th September there will be a third attempt to complete the Kerridge cup final.
