Richmondshire firefighters were called out to two incidents today.
A crew from Leyburn was called to Downholme at about 9am to a fire in woods.
This was a fire to a forest floor measuring approximately five metres by eight metres.
This was extinguished using a hose reel and wildfire tools.
At around 12noon, the Hawes crew attended a fire in a chimney in Askrigg.
The fire was confined to the chimney and was extinguished using a chimney kit and small tools.
