Dalton Amateur Dramatic Society is getting ready to stage their 21st pantomime performance.
With 20 years under their belts the cast are adding the final touches to this year’s production of Peter Pan at Dalton and Gayles Village Hall.
The first showing will be on Thursday, February 20, followed by two more performances on February 21 and 22, all at 7.30pm.
Co-directors Becca Blenkiron and Adam Wallis said: “This year’s Pantomime contains the usual tongue-in-cheek frivolities, an abundance of songs, doolally dances and amusing costumes.”
The pantomime tells the tale of Peter Pan’s battle with Captain Hook and his paralysing fear of the hungry crocodile.
After taking Wendy and her brothers to Neverland, the Lost Boys try to defeat Captain Hook and his pesky Pirates.
With a fairy tale ending, producers say there will be plenty giggles at this year’s show.
