Richmondshire students at QE celebrate A Level results

Students at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College in Darlington celebrating their A* grades.

Richmondshire students at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College in Darlington have celebrated their excellent A Level results.

Ceira Moore-Atkinson, from Catterick Garrison, is going to study liberal arts at King’s College London after gaining 4 A* grades in English literature, history, politics and extended project.

Edie Johnson, from Hawes, will study English literature and maths at Glasgow University after attaining 3 A* grades in English literature, maths and further maths and a distinction* in Popular Music.

Joseph Scott, from Bellerby, achieved 3 A* grades in business, geography and law, and is moving on to Northumbria University to study business management.

Liliana Sartini, from Richmond, will progress to Newcastle University to study law after securing 3 A* grades in English literature, law and extended project and an A grade in history.

Tim Fisher, principal at QE, said: “We’re so proud of all of our students for the remarkable resilience they’ve shown over the past few years, both during and after the pandemic.

“We’re delighted with how hard they’ve worked, and I know there will be many happy students collecting their results today and looking forward to the next exciting chapter in their lives.
