A volunteer at Richmond & Catterick Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) has been awarded this year’s Yorkshire & Cleveland Region RDA President’s Award.
Sue Robson was presented with the award by RDA president, Princess Anne, at a virtual service.
Sheri Wild, from the RDA branch, said: “Awarded for service of an exceptional nature over a period of not less 30 years, it is a wonderful accolade to Sue’s long and distinguished RDA volunteer career.”
Sue has been volunteering with RDA for 51 years.
During this time she has held positions of county chair, group chair and is currently one of the group trustees and an active session volunteer.
Her long and committed service has seen her help hundreds of disabled children and young adults gain the therapeutic benefits and personal enjoyment of horse riding.
“Everyone at Richmond & Catterick RDA, wish to take this opportunity to say a huge congratulations to Sue on this well-deserved achievement,” Sheri added.
