Risedale School pupils were given the opportunity to join the textile students of Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College in Darlington, for a masterclass with print design lecturer Davinder Madaher.
Davinder Madaher has worked in New York and the UK with some of the world’s biggest brands, including The Gap, Guess, Fatface, Joules, Next, Debenhams, Tesco, Littlewoods and Cotton Traders.
The pupils learnt what it was like working in the fashion industry, before spending the day experimenting with drawing and watercolour painting.
Risedale design and technology teacher, Mrs Vizor, said “The Risedale pupils were exceptional and I was immensely proud of their representation of our school.
“It was an extraordinary day that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
“I am confident that this masterclass will inspire many of our pupils to pursue their own creative aspirations in the future.”
