Police say that the B6255 is currently closed near Ingleton following a serious collision.
Three vehicles were involved in the incident, close to White Scar Caves.
Police were called to the scene at around 11.30am today, along with paramedics.

The road is likely to be closed for several hours to allow emergency services to deal with the incident and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
