Passengers using the DalesBus 832 service between Hawes and Kirkby Lonsdale are being advised of major timetable and route changes due to long-term roadworks.
From Sunday, June 28, the service will operate via Ribblehead and Ingleton instead of Garsdale and Sedbergh while Westmorland and Furness Council carries out roadworks on the A684 between Garsdale and Sedbergh.
The diversion is expected to remain in place for the next 18 weeks, until Saturday, October 18.
Despite the route change, the bus will continue to depart from Hawes Market Hall at 12.40pm every Sunday and Bank Holiday.
However, return journeys have been altered, with the bus leaving Kirkby Lonsdale Booths at 3.30pm before departing Ingleton Community Centre at 3.45pm.
During the roadworks, DalesBus 832 will no longer serve Garsdale or Sedbergh.
Passengers are encouraged to check the revised timetable before travelling.
Printed timetable leaflets are available from the usual outlets, including Hawes Community Office and the Dales Countryside Museum.
The updated timetable can also be viewed online at www.dalesbus.org/832.
