Wensleydale Rotary Club has donated IT equipment to the Wensleydale School to help pupils who are learning at home.
The club launched an appeal for used desktop computers, laptops and other devices after hearing how some pupils did not have the right equipment for home learning.
As well as donated equipment, the club also bought five new laptops, paid for out of its charities fund, to be delivered to the school.
Wensleydale School business leader Nicki Greater said: βOn behalf of the head teacher, may I offer you my sincere thanks for both the new laptops so generously funded by the Rotary Club and for the IT equipment kindly donated by individuals.
“These donations will make an enormous difference to our students many of whom are without home resources and struggling to keep up with remote learning.
“Thank you so much for thinking of our school and for giving so generously β it is very much appreciated. β
The club says it is still working on sourcing more equipment.
