Saint Francis Xavier School to hold open evening

Saint Francis Xavier School in Richmond is hosting an open evening for prospective parents tonight.

School leaders say the event is an opportunity for children and parents in the local community to visit in person and see what SFX has to offer.

Head of school, Mrs J Prime said: “We are delighted to have so many of our current students available on the evening to talk to you about their personal experiences at Saint Francis Xavier School.

“We hope the evening will give you a flavour of our Outstanding school, one that we are all very proud to be a part of.

“If you are looking for a school that is friendly with a family feel, is caring and ambitious for all our pupils to achieve the very best they can, then we are the school for you.”

The evening will give people an opportunity to;

  • Explore’the school on a tour, dropping into subjects, talks and practical activities
  • See the facilities
  • Meet staff members
  • Learn about the subjects taught at Saint Francis Xavier School, the careers they may lead to and past student successes
  • Hear from students’ reasons for choosing Saint Francis Xavier School and their experiences of school life
  • Learn about the pastoral care and student leadership programme
  • Gain more information about how admissions, catering and school transport work
  • Find out about the enrichment programme
  • Hear the Executive Head, Head of School and other senior staff share their thoughts on the values and ethos of the school
  • Ask your questions directly to members of staff and students

The Open Evening is being held on Tuesday, September 20.

Doors open at 5.30pm with two opportunities to hear the staff presentation at 6pm and 7pm.
