Children and staff at St Mary’s RC Primary School dressed up as elves this week to help those living with dementia.
The fancy dress day aimed to make a difference for the 850,000 people in the UK living with the condition this Christmas.
As well as being fun, the school raised valuable funds for the Alzheimer’s Society to assist in improving care and funding research to find a cure.
Head Katie Whitehead said: “It was great that all the staff and pupils made so much effort in coming to school dressed as elves.
“As a school we continue to raise awareness and funds to help those affected by eementia.”
