
North Yorkshire Police say a man sadly died in the accident in Catterick Garrison today.
The incident happened at 9.55am on Range Road and involved a white Citroen Van and a silver Daihatsu Terios.
The driver of the Daihatsu was killed in the collision.

He was a 68-year-old man from the Arkengarthdale area.
The 34-year-old male driver of the Citroen van and his 12 year-old male passenger were in shock but did not sustain any injuries.
The road was closed at the Hauxwell Lane Junction and at Munster Barracks.
The road was reopened shortly before 2.30pm.
Police say they are not yet in a position to name the man who died.
